Flu Clinics
Flu clinics are now available. They are being held in Glossop on Saturday 30th September, Saturday 7th October and Saturday 21st October. Hadfield Surgery clinics are Monday 2nd and 9th October and Tuesday 3rd and 10th October. Please telephone reception to make an appointment
Health Status Information
The practice records data such as height, weight, smoking status, alcohol consumption and ethnicity in order to maintain up to date and accurate medical
records for all its patients. If you are not a regular attender at the surgery you may be asked this information during your consultation with a clinician, even if it does not relate to the problem you originally came in for.

.Medical Students

Fifth year medical students, in their final year pre qualification, are working with us August to March each year. If you do not want a medical student to be present at your consultation, please let reception staff know.

Sr Michele Maunder retires from the practice on 29th September 2017.

Nurse Practitioners

Sister Pamela Astley

staff_pamRGN, DPSN, BSc (Hons).  Sister Pamela Astley qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1991.  She trained at South Manchester School of Nursing and once qualified she worked at Tameside General Hospital specialising in general surgical nursing.  She joined Manor House Surgery in 2001.  Her Main interests are Minor Surgery, Family Planning Services, Anti-coagulant care and Chronic Disease Management.

Sister Lesley Richardson

staff_lesleyDip Nursing (Surgical), RGN, ENG. Sister Lesley Richardson qualified as an Enrolled Nurse in 1988 and a Registered General Nurse in 1991.  She trained and worked in the Royal Air Force from 1985 - 2004 posted to varying RAF stations at home and abroad when in 2004 she entered this Practice in Glossop.  Her main interests are minor surgery, diabetes and childhood immunisations.

Healthcare Assistants

Anita Monks, Chelcie Walker, Linzy Hannigan and Lauren Horbatchewskyj are our nursing assistants trained to perform blood tests and routine blood pressure recordings, weight management and smoking cessation advice. They are also able to carry out ECGs and flu vaccinations
